It started its operations in 1968, at a time when agroindustry and packaging in general depended totally on imports. Its installation allowed the substitution of container imports, but more than that, being a pioneer in the field, it was one of the points of support for the country’s agro-industrial development.

The main commitment of Envases Antillanos is to offer our customers a high quality product accompanied by an efficient technical service, which allows us the experience of having been affiliated for more than 25 years to the American Can Co. and being a current member of the International Packaging Association (http://www.ipacan.com/). One of the services most valued by our customers is the technical assistance that includes updating and management seminars, equipment audits, support in the mechanical area through our repair and manufacturing workshops, as well as advice on the different canning processes.

Envases Antillanos has an integrated production system that includes its own cutting line, which allows us to adapt tinplate to different uses and works with the most updated Soudronic technology.

Tinplate comes from the best mills in the world and enamels, inks and varnishes are approved by F.D.A and U.S.D.A. from United States.

This company is the first and largest metal packaging factory in the Caribbean area, with capacity to produce more than 300 million cans and two Litell cutting lines that can cut more than 30,000 tons of tin a year. Installed in an area of almost 20,000 square meters and a staff of more than 300 people of different academic levels.
